NAD’s forward-thinking Modular Design Construction (MDC) architecture was developed with the anticipation that users would desire upgrades for their NAD AV Receiver or Processor, incorporating new technologies and additional features. Over a decade later, this same design remains the driving force behind some of NAD’s most groundbreaking products. The VM 310, a single module compatible with all NAD MDC AV products, seamlessly combines Ultra High Definition (UHD) and BluOS® technologies. Featuring the latest UHD video chipsets and HDMI 2.0b, the VM 310 supports 60 frames per second to fully accommodate current and future UHD formats. HDCP 2.2 support is also included, ensuring compatibility with the copy encryption required for UHD video, essential for 4K content viewing. Similar to previous NAD MDC video modules, the VM 310 preserves the integrity of the video signal, maintaining the frame rate and color space without any alterations. As a BluOS Ready product, the VM 310 offers options for network music streaming, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, providing access to premium audio experiences.
